Loved the convenience of public transportation and the mini-markets nearby. Safety feature: a fire extinguisher - just in case the whole place goes up in flames.
Oh, how I adored the dangling wires and broken blinds in my room. Such delightful touches to add to my posh experience.

The entry process was a breeze, and staying on the 3rd floor of this historic building was a charming experience. The location is conveniently close to public transport, and we were delighted to find patisseries and a restaurant within walking distance. The recently refurbished rooms and common areas were always spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, and we never had to worry about hot water in the showers. The owner's hospitality was exceptional, and communication was a breeze. The proximity to the metro made exploring the city a breeze, and the free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly in our room. The cleanliness and availability of two bathrooms, complete with soap, towels, and hot water, exceeded our expectations. our stay was mind-blowingly amazing, and we highly recommend this place for its incredible value and fantastic amenities.

I had a great stay at a simple and comfortable place called Crescent Rooms. the owner was very friendly and spoke fluent English. the location in the Arroios region was a bit away from the main sights, but I actually found it to be an advantage. the prices were better, it was more tranquil, and there was a huge variety of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets nearby.
Plus, the subway was close by, making it easy to get around.

There were also good transportation options within walking distance. the staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for our new year celebration. The room was clean and comfortable, providing us with a cozy stay.
We could hear everything going on in the other rooms and outside, making it difficult to sleep at night. the bathrooms were not in great condition and it was a bit of a hassle having to climb up several flight of stairs since there was no elevator.

I recently stayed at a cute property called Database pros in Sao João for a few days. The person who runs it is very friendly and speaks fluent English, which was a bonus. The location is great, with easy access to the metro and bus stops. There are also many snack bars and cafeterias nearby. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with fully fitted kitchen facilities. The best part was the host, who even allowed us to check in earlier than the usual time. It was definitely good value for money and I would stay here again.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
